The Interior Renovation You've Been Quietly Planning for Years
Every homeowner has a mental list. The floor plan that never quite worked. The ceilings that feel low. The living room that looks exactly the same as the day you moved in. Interior renovation is how you stop tolerating a home that almost fits and start living in one that actually does. We handle the planning, the permits, and the coordination so you don't have to figure it out alone.

A DIFFERENT WAY TO RENOVATE
Designed Around Your Real Life, Not a Showroom Photo
Most renovation companies show you a portfolio and ask you to pick something. Your home has its own structure, its own quirks, and its own limitations that a showroom photo never accounts for. A floor plan that opens beautifully in one home might require a load-bearing beam, updated electrical, and new HVAC routing in yours. That's not a problem we hide. It's a conversation we have upfront.
We take the time to understand the scope before we quote a number. Then we build it the right way.
Three-tier investment levels so you can choose the scope that fits
Full permits, fully insured, and backed by a written warranty
One project lead coordinating every trade from start to finish
Daily progress updates so you always know where things stand

Everything Inside Your Walls, Cared For By One Team
Interior Renovation Services
Framing, drywall, trim, paint, flooring, lighting, and custom millwork, all coordinated by a single project team that knows your home and your vision. No bouncing between trades. No wondering who to call on a Tuesday afternoon.
Wall Removals & Floor Plan Reworks
Open up a closed-off floor plan, swap a wall for a clean flush beam, or give two cramped rooms the space they should have had from the start. We handle structural concerns, pull the permits, and walk you through every decision before demolition starts.
Whole-Home Flooring
Wide-plank white oak, engineered hardwood, warm luxury vinyl, and large-format tile. We help you select the level and installation method that makes sense for your household, budget, and subfloor condition.
Built-Ins, Trim & Custom Millwork
Reading nooks, mudroom lockers, shaker built-ins, coffered ceilings, and craftsman trim throughout. These are the details that make a house feel finished. The kind of touches that make your home feel intentional.
Whole-Home Repaints & Wall Finishes
Skim coat, textured walls, crisp trim lines, ceilings repaired from years of settling. Interior finish work done right is invisible when it's done well and obvious when it isn't. We get it right.
Lighting Plans & Electrical Upgrades
Recessed lighting layouts, pendant placement, dimmer controls, and panel upgrades that support modern living. Good lighting planning happens before the drywall goes up, not after. We sequence it correctly.
Fireplace Rebuilds & Feature Walls
Shiplap surrounds, tiled hearths, board and batten feature walls, and reframed fireplace boxes that finally become the focal point the room was built around. We handle the craft and we wire it fully permitted.

Reveal & Written Warranty
We walk through every room together before we consider the project complete. Trim details, lighting, flooring transitions, paint edges, and built-in function all get reviewed. If anything isn't right, we fix it before we leave.
The Questions East Tennessee Homeowners Ask Us Most
AN INTERIOR RENOVATION FAQ
Honest, friendly answers about timelines, living comfortably through a renovation, design help, permits, pricing, and what happens when an older Knoxville home has a surprise or two waiting behind the drywall.
Can you really take out a load-bearing wall safely?
Yes, with the right planning. Load-bearing walls require a properly sized structural beam, temporary support during framing, and permitted inspection sign-off. We evaluate the structure during the consultation, engineer the beam correctly, and pull the required permits so the finished result is structurally sound and code compliant.
Will my family have to move out during the renovation?
For most interior renovation scopes, no. We sequence the work room by room to keep the majority of your home livable throughout the project. For larger full-home scopes we talk through a realistic timeline during planning so you can make an informed decision before anything starts.
How long does an interior renovation usually take?
Scope determines timeline more than anything else. A targeted room update runs two to four weeks. A full floor plan reconfiguration with flooring, millwork, and electrical throughout the home can run eight to fourteen weeks. We give you a realistic schedule before construction starts, not an optimistic one designed to win the bid.
Do you help with design, paint colors, and finish selections?
Yes. We walk you through flooring options, trim profiles, paint palettes, lighting placement, and millwork details so everything works together cohesively. You make the final decisions and we make sure what you choose is available, within budget, and installed to hold up long term.
What happens if you find old wiring or hidden damage mid-project?
Older homes in the Knoxville area regularly reveal outdated electrical panels, knob-and-tube wiring, or water-damaged framing once walls open. We stop, document what we found, show you in person, and discuss your options before any additional work is done. Nothing moves forward without your sign-off.
Is everything (drywall, trim, paint, electrical) handled by one team?
The coordination is handled by one project lead from start to finish. Some specialty trades like licensed electrical or HVAC work involve qualified subcontractors we trust and have worked with consistently. You always have one person to call who knows exactly where your project stands.
